Young Adult Dinner and Information
All young adults are invited to a night of food, fun, and fellowship!  Don’t miss this opportunity to socialize in an informal setting and enjoy a complimentary dinner.  You can also learn about Catholic programming available for young adults in their 20’s and early 30’s and hear from Fr. St. Hilary Young Adult Group Dinner and Discussion
The Young Adult Group is hosting a dinner and discussion this Saturday, Jan. 7 @ 7:00pm @ St. Hilary’s in Akron.  We will be preparing a meal in the church kitchen (upstairs – enter through the back doors by the main office and kitchen is to the right)  and then eating together.  All are welcome college-age and up.  We will be discussing our personal New Year goals and special insights on the Epiphany.  Please RSVP to jsolomon923@hotmail.com or Jason’s cell 330-687-2914 if you plan to come so that we can plan the meal accordingly.  We will ask that each person bring one ingredient to make the dinner and the list of ingredients needed will be sent to those that respond that they are attending!  We are looking forward to a relaxing evening and a delicious meal together!  Come and bring friends!

Right to Life Confession, Mass, and Rosary
8:30a.m. St. Andrew’s (Benedictine) Abbey, Cleveland (Shaker area)
Join us for confession and Mass, and then prayer in front of an abortion clinic.  Confession begins at 8:30a.m., followed by Mass at 9:15a.m. at St. Andrew’s  Abbey, 2900 Martin Luther King Drive (behind Benedictine High School near the corner of Buckeye).  After Mass, we will reassemble on the sidewalk in front of Shaker Medical/ Preterm abortion facility at 11710/12000 Shaker Boulevard at 10:15am.  There we will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and meditate on three sets of the mysteries of the Rosary.  Then we will return to Saint Andrew’s Abbey for fellowship.  Attending the entire event is not necessary.   You may prefer to only attend the sidewalk prayers or only the Mass.   Contact:  Don and Kathy Miller at (440)  821-6692  or  millerdjm@gmail.com.

Patricia Giralt from St. Sebastian Parish in Akron will be leading a discussion titled “St. Therese & the Secular Carmelite Order” on Friday January 13, 2012. Join others to volunteer at the Gennesaret soup kitchen at 419 W Exchange Street in Akron from about 10am to about 1:30pm.  You will be helping out with meal preparation, serving and clean-up.  If anyone is interested please contact Matt Fedak at  chewie78@sbcglobal.net   it is a very enjoyable and rewarding experience to be able to show God's love and compassion to those who may not experience it anywhere else.
